WeatherLink v5.9.3a

Installed Davis model 6153 on May 1, 2010. The breezeway roof is far from ideal but it's the most open area we have. I installed a ground level aspirated temperature gauge to compare with the roof station (July 2013). They agree within one degree Fahrenheit.
On February 1, 2017 relocated station to ground level to make it easier to maintain.
On 6 November, 2017 added five foot extension for anemometer.
On 7 September 2018 replaced temp/rh sensor (7346.070) after realizing it never displayed humidity above 85%.
Checking the records indicated it failed March, 2014 so I need to plan replacement every two years or so.
Also raised unit to five feet above ground to minimize ground effects.

Installed v6.0.0 of Weatherlink in December 2012. In January I started having problems with the data logger. It would stop logging and I could recover only by rebooting the console. Each time I lost 24 or more hours of data. On the off-chance that there is a correlation with the software update, I reverted to v5.9.3a end of February, 2013. I have not had any problems since then.

We experienced an extended drought from 2011 to 2013. View the charts here.

I did some data mining of our station data to try to understand what most influences our power usage. The graphs show some interesting and unexpected effects.

During May 2012 I tried an experiment with a dehumidifier. The rationale being that lowering the humidity will permit the a/c to run less and thus save energy. We've never had problems with humidity and, though it did lower the humidity a bit, it increased rather than reduce the energy usage. Our house is just too leaky as shown by the study mentioned above.
